The EU parliament has proposed new regulations relating to sustainable investments and sustainable risks. This is the first step following an Action Plan on sustainable economic growth laid out by the EU Commission’s High Level-Expert Group (HLEG).
Between 2019 and 2021, the EU Commission’s proposal aims to bring forward a framework that considers Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues at the very heart of the economy. By forcing Institutional investors and asset managers to disclose how they have integrated ESG concerns into their investment decision-making, the EU plans to indirectly improve sustainable development through more competitive ESG advantages on the trading market.
This seminar will help those in finance, private equity, alternative investments, and company management better understand what Sustainable finance means, how it will impact them, and how to benefit from it.
The seminar will be held in English.
